The New England Historical Radio Society Inc. is an organization dedicated
to the preservation of commercial Morse Radiotelegraphy on medium and high
frequency. WNE is under construction and plans to be on the air by Fall of
2010. WNE will be operated by the NEHRS under Non-Profit status helping to
preserve 500 KHz as the International calling and distress frequency. We plan
to expand to HF when property is available to support the
antenna facilities for such a station.

In order to comply
with our tax exempton application we need a Treasurer that has no relation to
the President and VP. Is there anyone out there that is in our area that would
like to help and volunteer to fill this position? This is a major holdup in the
IRS application. Please reply to nehrs@hotmail.com
Update:
A gentlemen has stepped forward to
be treasurer on a temporary basis so we can proceed with the tax exemption
application. I hope to meet him this week over lunch and discuss what needs to
be done. Looks like we are on our way now.
